We are frequently asked “what is the longest truss you can supply?” People are surprised to hear that the maximum length of truss available is governed by the maximum length that can be transported rather than the limitations of our production equipment.
The longest clear span truss that we stock is 40 feet. We regularly build 50, 60, and even 70 foot long trusses for agricultural buildings. Occasionally we are requested to build 80 foot long trusses. These are usually for riding arenas. The longest clear span truss that we have built at Leduc Truss was 100 feet long.
Trusses of this length require specialized delivery equipment and an engineer to supervise the unloading, installation and bracing of the trusses on site.
The following images are from a project that we did in September 2008. These are 100’ long clear span trusses that were for a riding arena in Parkland County. The arena measures 100’ x 200’.
